ATi Catalyst Driver Thread

Post by Andy »

UPDATE!!

Official ATi Catalyst 4.11's and new Control Center now out!

http://www.ati.com/home/online/CatalystXPdriver.html

Omega Drivers version 2.5.90 based on ATi 8.07 Beta drivers are also out, featuring the new control centre

http://www.omegadrivers.net/

Omega drivers are the best tweaked drivers there are, as OmegaDrive is actually a beta tester for ATi. His drivers tend to increase frame rates and generally smooth games quite a bit. The download also includes RadLinker, an ATi overclocking utility.

When installing the Omega drivers, disable fast writes in BIOS for optimum efficiency (see read me in driver file for more details)

Have you tries the newer ones? 4.3 upwards

ATi drives use a unified driver architecture for their new cards, and this includes the 9700 Pro, so they should work.
Maybe your using an older version of Direct X with them?

If 4.3 is the last 1 them yes i tried but no luck. And i got latest dx 9.1b right? Every newer cat after about 3.8 comes ur with same error and most games run like crap, freeze and crash or don't run at all.
