All pictures are saved to the computer in there original state when downloaded, unless a program that has been installed is using a different file extension. If you have photoshop, put your pictures in there and click save as from the file menu, and you should get loads of file types. Choose jpeg for pictures, and gif for low colour logos (saves space). If you are transferring pics across via the sync station, they are automatically sent to the correct folder based on ther file extension. The only other thing i can think odf is if you go into the picture properties and change the program that it opens with, see if that helps. If not then i do have another idea but its a taddy bit more detailed.
rite i'm having a similar problem to abdul now, any image i try to save from IE, i only get the option to save as BMP, so i save it as BMP then use the ChangeType program to change it to JPG, but why does IE only let me save as BMP????
i dont know m8 must be a setting somewhere? why do u use the changetype proggy though? do they work using this? i would just resave a jpeg etc in paint
erm coz using changetype is a lot quicker than opening paint and resaving it. all u do is rightclick on the icon and select changetype, and it works fine.
im sure it must be a setting but cant find it anywhere
