PS3 European launch date revealed

The long-awaited PlayStation 3 will finally go on sale across Europe on 23 March, and will cost 599 Euros.

The electronics giant has said that only the 60GB version of the console will be available at launch, with the 20GB model to follow later.

Can't say I'll be rushing out to buy one. It's so far behind the 360 at the moment in terms of online service and games that it's not funny.

Maybe in a year or two down the line if they get some good exclusives but as it stands most of their exclusives are now coming to the 360.

Wii is good, but Nintendo....games not my genre really.

360 for me, PS3 is way too expensive, even with a blue ray thingy and as edd said they're losing their exclusives. ?25 extra for the UK, just buy it in Europe?

Anyhow, 360 for me only because of HALO
