Hi guys,

Just thought I would let you know I am going to convert my Ren and stimpy collection to 3gp format and stick em on the donkey.

I just uploaded 3 of the files and the links can be found on my site (http://www.kahnindustries.com) in the p8/900 videos section. The files I put up were

More will go up tonight followed by all the south park episodes in reverse order.

If any of you have eDonkey running could you grab these files and share them for a while....Pleeeeeeeeessssseeee

eDonkey 0.52 works great for me, after I foud out what Kazaa does to your machine I went looking for a replacement and eDonkey was excelent.

It usually takes about 2-5 mins for a download to get started but after that it usually goes up to full speed atraight away.

I find it excelent for bins and cues distributed by http://www.sharereactor.com allthough not so good for mp3's.

Thanks, I went with Ren and Stimpy first cos their episodes are 10 - 15 mins long and fit on my 16mb card better (I will get a 128mb in Jan)

aint watched ren&stimpy for years! shame i cant even watch em now coz i sold my p800! will have a bash at dlding them anyways

erm thought u said emule was great kev? it never bloody downloads anything for me either or it does but its so bloody slow

erm what does kazaa do to your machine ghengis? kazaalite is totally spyware free if thats what you mean. it's a shame they stopped kazaalite k++ but i have copies so all is well

will check out the ren and stimpy stuff when i get back from work

No i am just talking about the spyware and the missnamed files.

Nothing is more frustrating than downloading C&C and finding both cd's are some random porn

Personnally after that I swapped to eDonkey2000 and I have never since downloaded a fake file, its all due to hash numbers see.

Personnally I didnt like emule if you fancy it I have put a link to the download of the edonkey2000 0.52 page on the p8/900 vids section of my site. It may take a while to get the files since only me and 6 other people have the files at the moment but it will speed up as more get them. Try the two log adverts first they are quite small.

will have to try edonky then as emule is far too slow although i have to say the file selection on emule is far better than kazaa.

I find that if you use donkey to get files from sharereactor it works really well, also remember that it enforces shareing. If you restrict the upload rate too much your download rate is cut, mine is set at 20k down 5k up

i havent a clue how to change them settings! all i know is that in the 4hours that i left my pc on whilst i was out, it downloaded a mahoosive 87kb of your file!

Hmmmm, yes that sucks mightily.

I think that is cos no-one is sharing my files but me at the moment.

I am trying to sort out some storage that allows me to direct link in.
