Well, frankly I don't know. We can top up via creditcard, straight from bank account (by calling in) and with top up cards. For me, that's plenty of choice + you don't have to in online first. After all, many phones do not have built in internet. And it's more convenient to top up using your phone imho.

Oh??? That's weird. It takes me about 1 minute with credit card... about 2 minutes by calling into my bank account and about 15 mins to go out and buy a top up card somewhere
Why does it take so long??? All they need is your card number (some countries billing address
) expiration date, verification code on the back of the card, amount you wanna top up, the computer calls in for an authoristation with your C provider and if it goes through your done.
That's weird that it takes you so long then.
Oh well.. coming back to topic.... i think topping up on the net just died because it wasn't used enough. Maybe it will return later again??

we can't call it in to our bank account here
dunno bout other networks, but O2 upgraded their security so now u have to type in card number, security number, issue number, expiry date, your house number, and the numbers from your postcode, and you have to confirm each number by pressing hash and then it starts reading the number back to you so you have to press 1 to ok it. Works out in the region of 40-50 keypresses in all!

have you tried the electronic top-up cards, they work in most supermarkets n 24hr shops now - just a quick swipe and it's done. i've also done mine over the phone and orange store all those details so u don't need them all after the first top-up...

Don't rush today what you can put off 'til tomorrow...
