consoles can be overclocked, there was a thing on wired.com tother day about people that had been clocking SNESes and stuff, and I just thought - WHY?

There's no real need to watercool a 360, but the technical challenge it imposes is fun and you end up with a unique system at the end of it.
The only thing I'd personally do to my 360 would be to isolate the optical drive with some rubber grommets as it sounds like a jet turbine in a hurricane through a megaphone in a cave.

yeah exactly, it looks very cool (imo) and is certainly original. the fact that it isnt necessary is a moot point to many a mod.
