IS there a way to change what search page IE uses if the address doens't exist? Maybe by editing the registry? If so how?
Thanks

This might help:
http://windows.about.com/od/tipsarchive/l/bltip568.htm
It shows you how to change the "page cannot be displayed" pages etc, which I think is what you mean.
I haven't tried the instructions though, and so I dont know how useful they are
Yum, registry.

no, i like the the page cannot be displayed errors. But before i used to get them when a site doesn't exist but now it uses the stupid msn search which i don't like
Well at least i could change it to google rather than msn
ty (although i hate editing the regestry as i know i will mess somthing up

)
Edit: Just checked and they all seem to be right anyway

have you tried tools > options > advanced and looking under 'search from address bar'?
