Windows Vista Screenshots

Post by Vacant »

Yep. (I dont THINK this has been posted before)

http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/pres ... fault.mspx

I waited for them to appear officially before I posted... because I just can't believe how bad they are! Nothing appears to match with anything, and the green is shocking. Round navigation buttons and squarish close buttons, for example.

If they actually look like this, I'm buying Windowblinds...

topic moved to PC software

I don't think it looks quite THAT bad, besides won't it be skinnable anyway?
Windowblinds is always a good idea though ;)

i quite like it to be honest, if those are screenshots from the beta they wont be using the Aero Glass 3D tech yet will they? looks like the minimum system requirements to run that will be a spangly dx9.0c graphics card

gave up using skins on xp, hate having all the themexp background crap running

You could always patch uxtheme.dll... Theres plenty of XP theme files around. That way you dont have to run anything, just make winXP accept your themes.

But yeah, you have a point.
