When I connect my PC to my LCD TV through VGA cable, I can see the desktop in the TV properly. I can play some movies using Quicktime but when I downloaded Grand Designs from 4OD as we had a powercut on Wednesdaynight then played it back through media player 11, I could see the program but not the video
Any ideas? I will test a few format this weekend to narrow the problem down a bit.

Might be. The mrs is off out today so I can have a play without her nagging.

it was the refresh rate. The sound is still not working. Manual time.
