they showed the pilot of the US remake of The Office last night, apparently it wasn't actually that bad, so am gonna check it out from my local tv shop.....

just watched it, tis not a patch on the original. altho the writing is still Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, the Americans just can't do the humour as well

it's funny how the original was critically acclaimed when they showed it in the US, yet they remake it anyway and it's arse. it'd be interesting to see what'd happen if we reversed the situation and remade summat like Friends
